Our team has had the honour of being involved in the inaugural Metaverse Fashion Week in 2022 and the subsequent one in 2023, working with Republiqe and Monnier to curate their collections on the Decentraland platform.
The Republiqe team came to us with the challenge of converting their CLO3D garments to Decentraland for the launch of the first MVFW. With our experience in retopology, we were able to reduce these garments from 30 million poly to 8,000 poly.
For the second year, we were more deeply involved in the process, creating a digital space to showcase the work. Monnier launched their Digital Fashion Creator Prize during MVFW, requiring an engaging and interactive space for users to learn about the competition. As a result of the prize, we were involved in the awards ceremony during Digital Fashion Week Paris Summer '23, where we advised on the 3D printing of physical representations of the digital winners' submissions.
